This is a fun trial piano class designed for beginner learner who is interested in learning the piano. Through games and activities, learners will be singing and playing their way through songs from Unit 1 of My First Piano Adventure A. No musical experience is needed. This is a great sampler of a 12-week piano class being offered in September. Here are the activities covered in this trial class: -Hello/greeting song -Friends at the Piano -Roll Call -"I'm Great Pose" -Sounds on the Piano -Goodbye song I look forward to seeing you in class!

Hello and welcome!
My name is Helen (you can also call me Mrs. Helen). I have been teaching music for the past 20 years. I teach mainly beginner and intermediate piano and singing to learners ages 4-13. I received my music education through the Royal Conservatory of Music, completing Level 10 in both Piano and Singing.
I believe education should be fun, uplifting, and empowering. I value a safe and playful learning space where learners can express, create and explore. Through play-based learning, I help learners develop meaningful connections with music and with themselves. I am a compassionate and patient teacher who loves watching learners grow and succeed.
When I am not teaching, I am often busy at home with my adorable toddler and baby. I love green juices (wheatgrass anyone?) and espressos (long please!). Besides teaching music, I am also a holistic nutritionist and have been in the health and wellness field for about 8 years.
