Description

Class Experience

Homework assigned will be 1-2 songs a week to practice. If a participant chooses the "piano plus theory" track, 1-2 theory worksheets will be assigned per week as well. Homework songs/sheets will be included in the book(s) listed under "Sources" (see for details). Homework will also be explained and introduced during class time.

Since learning how to play piano is a hands-on skill, and a sport of it's own, students are encouraged to practice their songs 20-30 minutes a day, recommended 4-5 days a week.
Theory worksheets are short to accomplish and can be completed any time during the week before the upcoming class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
