Piano Lessons for the Young Learner

Class
Ms. Caitlin Brown
Average rating:5.0Number of reviews:(28)
In this ongoing class, students meet in one-on-one lessons to learn how to play the piano with Wunderkeys

Class experience

I have been teaching piano and accompanying my students in recitals for five years.
Homework Offered
Students should practice at least 4 days of the week for a total of at least 20 minutes each day. For young students, I recommend practicing in two small sessions at a time rather than one full practice session (example: 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes after dinner instead of 20 minutes at once). Some parental support will be helpful to students too- but don't worry if you don't play the piano! I will give you a guide of some basic questions or comments to tell you student to help keep them focused as they practice.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
A piano or keyboard with at least 44 keys

Wunderkeys Primer Book One (available on Amazon for less than $20)
If you stay with the class long enough, we will eventually move up into Wunderkeys Primer Book 2/3

I will provide some extra games and handouts as needed
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
