In this one-time class, students will learn drill and practice multiplication facts for the 9 family. We will then learn tricks on how to remember these facts easily. I teach using the I do, We do, You do method. I will demonstrate how to solve multiplication problems. Then, we will solve problems together. Lastly, students will solve multiplication problems independently. If time permits, students will play games by racing each other to solve math problems after learning their new tricks. Additional classes offered for other facts 1-12 as well.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to solve multiplication facts from the 9 fact family.

Hello! I am currently an online ESL teacher, but I have an educational background in Elementary Education. I have taught students (K-5) in private school and charter school settings. I have over 11 years of teaching experience.
I have a passion for teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher, since 3rd grade to be exact (WOW! That was so long ago). I believe each student is unique and different. Each student will learn a different way. I use different methods in each of my classes to teach each child to help them succeed.
In my everyday life, I am a mother of two. My son is 18 and my daughter is 14. My daughter is also a competitive gymnast, so we spend a lot of our time at the gym. I enjoy reading and try to read a little every day. I also have a passion for photography.
