Welcome to the Bilingual Bridges kitchen! Are you looking for a summer cake baking camp? If so, you've come to the right place! The goals of this one-week mug cake summer camp are for learners to: learn about ingredients and tools, master new cooking techniques, gain independence in the kitchen, socialize with new friends, and bake a new mug cake every day! All of the ingredients and cooking tools needed for these online baking classes will be presented through an interactive Powerpoint and activity. Learners will also be introduced to alternative allergen-free ingredients and cooking related math skills, including measurements and conversions. The teacher will cook alongside the learners to ensure that everyone is working at the same pace, understanding the process, and most of all - having fun! She will also encourage learners to socialize with one another while they are cooking and share a glimpse of their desserts along the way. Finally, learners will enjoy their homemade desserts together while reviewing all that they learned throughout class.
