Class experience
In this ongoing class, we will create whimsical acrylic paintings inspired by seasons, holidays, animals, plants, landscapes, foods, etc. This class will be step-by-step as I will provide clear and precise instruction on how to paint the subject. We will learn different painting techniques, such as "wet on wet", "dry-brush", painting with sponges and Q-Tips, color mixing, creating shadows and highlights, etc. We will also learn basic drawing techniques, such as perspective and proportion....
Canvas or canvas board of any size. Acrylic paints (red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, orange, brown, violet). Paintbrushes of various sizes. Cup. Water. Paper towels. Hair dryer (for drying paint faster on the canvas). Palette or palette paper or paper plate. Pencil. Paper. Scissors. White chalk.
