"Move It With Music": One Time- A Discovery-Based Music Class for Ages 3-7

During this class, students will join Ms. Sally, founder of The Little Music Corner, for 30 minutes of singing, dancing, stories, and fun. Students can expect to leave the class feeling excited about music and ready to face the rest of their day. Each class will introduce an age-appropriate element of music reinforced in the songs and activities of the class. 

Hey there! I'm Ms. Sally! When I teach, I love to interact with students and allow their interests to shape a song experience. In my teaching, students can expect to experience 4 things. 

1. Discovery- I believe that children learn best when they are curious. I allow for opportunities to discover new things in my class. 

2. Growth- Each time your child takes my class they will grow developmentally. It could be physical growth (motor skills), mental growth (thinking through challenging topics, get those neurons firing), or emotional growth (learning to be good people through music)

3. Success- Students will always have moments of success in my classes. Small and large victories matter to me and are celebrated. 

4. Joy- I'll be that friendly face on the screen welcoming them into a joyful experience. 

I want learners to come for the music and stay for the fun! 

Class is structured in a series of songs and activities. I have a tried and true formula I use to plan a class experience. This formula allows me to be flexible when needed and adapt to the needs of the class. I base my planning on the energy levels of each activity. I make sure the class ebbs and flows to allow for fun without being overly stimulating. Students can expect to interact with me and answer questions if they desire. I encourage this and make space for ideas from the children.
