"May I Pet Your Dog?" Interactive & Engaging Read-Aloud

This class will be taught by Jessica Vasallo, a former teacher with experience in grades K- 8. Her teaching style heavily relies on engagement and being interactive with the students. Her experience in teaching virtually shows through her effective classroom management, connection with students, and ability to deliver information effectively. 

This class will be structured as follows:

*Student & Teacher Introductions
*Opening Activity- Students briefly share their experiences with dogs
*Share class objective with students
*Begin read aloud- essential reading skills are woven in throughout the reading such as: speaking, listening, making predictions, identifying key details, and making inferences
*Review the information presented in the book
*Introduce Ghost the Siberian Husky- Practice the skills taught in the book by having students interact and help walk through a demonstration on how to properly greet a dog
*Final questions and goodbyes
