Beginner Level
In this 12 week course, students will learn how to multiply single digit numbers by single digit numbers up to 12. They will learn how to use addition to show multiplication. On week one,, the students will learn how to multiply by 2. Week two, the students will multiply by 3. Week three, the students will multiply by 4. Week four, the students will multiply by 5. Week five, the students will multiply by 6. Week six, the students will multiply by 7. Week seven, the students will multiply by 8. Week eight, the students will multiply by 9. Week nine, the students will multiply by 10. Week ten, the students will multiply by 11. Week eleven, the students will multiply by 12. Week twelve, we will review with a PowerPoint and flash cards. Each week, I will give them some problems on the whiteboard for them to work on and they will show me their answers using their dry erase boards or their papers. I may assign some problems for them to do for practice so that we can go over and review them at the beginning of each class. We, then, will review the problems and see if the students need more time before moving on. I will be using flash cards to review. We will also go over the vocabulary words: factors and product. I may show videos by Jack Hartmann on YouTube to review the facts of multiplication.. We will, then, play a game to assess what the students know and what they need more help in. There will be some discussion on multiplication. Students should know their addition facts. We will also work on some word problems to know when to multiply using key words.I will be using the whiteboard to have the students show me their work.

Students will learn how to use addition with multiplication to solve the problems as well as some vocabulary words.

Parental Guidance
I will be using screen sharing to share my screen for the whiteboard as well as going to abcya.com to do some math assessment games to see if the students understand and can recall the multiplication facts. I may also use screen sharing to show some Jack Hartmann videos on YouTube to help with the multiplication facts.
