Parental Guidance
There is no upsetting or scary content in this class. However, students will be solving math problems, which may sometimes be challenging. I encourage a growth mindset—mistakes are part of learning!
No special safety precautions are required, but students should have a quiet workspace to focus and be prepared with paper and a pencil for problem-solving. If using a calculator, parental guidance may be helpful for younger learners unfamiliar with its functions.
If your child experiences frustration with any concepts, please feel free to reach out so we can find ways to support their learning in a positive and encouraging way!
Supply List
Students will need access to a computer to be able to attend class. For the class itself, students will need a notebook, a writing utensil, and access to a calculator and ruler.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have extensive experience teaching math and working with students in a variety of settings. As a certified teacher, I currently teach earth and space science, as well as integrated physics and chemistry at the high school level. Beyond the classroom, I provide tutoring for 5th-7th graders in math, English, social studies, and science, helping students strengthen their foundational skills and build confidence in problem-solving. I have also worked as a Home and Hospital Teacher (HHT), supporting students who are unable to attend school due to medical reasons through online instruction. I’m excited to bring my expertise and passion for math to this class and look forward to helping students become true Math Masters!
