Certified Math Teacher with 20 years experience/fun memories of helping students grow their math skills. Writing math expressions can sometimes be a struggle, but my three step process will assist in learning and gaining confidence in application. Class will begin with quick introductions and then right to practicing problems with friendly support and all student interactions. Step two will have a short interactive quiz. Step three will be game time utilizing Gimkit to play quiz games from students choice of Floor is Lava, Boss Battle and Trust No One. Students (along with myself) love this as a fun social time where they put newly practiced math skills to work. I enjoy student input/questions throughout the lesson as long as we all keep the focus on writing those math expressions! Prepare for a silly, fun but educational session. I look forward to meeting you!

Parental Guidance
No outside work time is required. However, I do provide an after class completion pdf of additional practice problems. (I also provide an answer key for you!)
Gimkit will be used during the review/social game time. (Do not need an account to join, I will provide code to join group game)

20 years teaching math, science and social studies, along with chess, math, and academic bowl clubs. I am certified in Early Childhood Education as well as Middle School Math and Science. I also am a Google Certified Educator Levels 1 & 2.
Degrees:
Bachelors in Middle Grades Education with focus in Math & Science (Augusta University)
Masters in Educational Leadership (Troy State University)
I desire to host classes in my areas of specialty above that let students have as much fun learning as I have teaching. Classes will include time for content exploration, practice and application during social/game time.
