Class Experience

Certified Math Teacher with 20 years experience/fun memories of helping students grow their math skills. Word problems can sometimes be a struggle, but my three step process will assist in learning and gaining confidence in application. Class will begin with quick introductions and then right to practicing problems with friendly support and all student interactions. Step two will have a short interactive quiz. Step three will be game time utilizing Gimkit to play quiz games from students...

This class is taught in English.

-  Importance of reading for details
-  Represent verbal statements of multiplicative comparisons as multiplication equations
-  Interpret a multiplication equation as a comparison

Paper/pencil or a whiteboard/marker.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Gimkit

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

No outside work time is required. 

Gimkit will be used during the review/social game time.  (Do not need an account to join, I will provide code to join group game)

All problems/resources are developed by me for your student.
