Make a Creative Collage Using Procreate
In this course, students will learn to create a mixed media collage using my collage kit, the iPad app Procreate and an Apple Pencil.
Class experience
Get creative with digital collage using the fun and easy to use iPad app, Procreate. This app is used by professional artists and hobbyists alike. CLASS STRUCTURE DETAILS 1. Introduction to each other and collage as an art form. 2. Collage techniques introduction. 3. Students learn about and discuss scale and proportion and practice scaling an image. 4. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to create an expressive and beautiful digital collage. - Learn and practice design principles used in collage making using my ready made collage kit. - Use the tools and functions necessary to manipulate images on procreate to create stunning works of collage art. - Each design technique is followed by a practice portion where students are encouraged to perform the technique on their iPads. - Each student will begin their own collage on their iPads. There is no pressure to finish your collage during the class period. - We will end with final tips and ideas for future projects.
I am a freelance artist and designer. My work focuses on collage and surface pattern design. I am also a RISD CE student and have experience hosting art workshops. I have 7 years of experience teaching ESL as well.
