Help prevent the "Summer Slide" that happens each year! This ongoing reading camp will meet twice a week for 30 minutes and focus on dyslexia strategies for reading and spelling.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 5
This ongoing class meets twice a week. It will focus on the Six Syllable Types. (Vowel-consonant-e, Vowel-R, Consonant-LE aka Final Stable Syllables, Closed, Open, and Vowel Pair) Research shows that understanding these different syllable types helps students become more fluent readers. We will focus on each of the Syllable Types and provide ample opportunities for practice by solving riddles, using blending boards, and playing games to reinforce both reading and spelling.
