Is your child craft obsessed? Constantly making and creating? This is the perfect class for them! In this ongoing class, learners will meet once a week to create a teacher-directed craft. This class is for learners who have a lot of experience making arts and crafts. The crafts are more advanced and will require more patience, fine motor skills, and willingness to learn new techniques. We will use basic arts and crafts materials and also materials that you don't normally keep in your home. However, the supply list will always be listed a few weeks in advance so you have plenty of time to gather the materials. You can see the supplies needed for the upcoming classes in the "supply list" section below. Learners will be shown step by step how to complete each craft. Students will have opportunities to practice following directions but are also given space to be creative. It is difficult to estimate how long a craft will take to complete. If we do not finish during the allotted class time, learners will be directed in how to finish the craft. During the next week's class, we will spend a little time sharing our finished projects. Week of Aug. 14: Caticorn Masquerade Mask Week of Aug. 21: Lion Week of Aug. 28: Pop-Up Kite Week of Sept. 4: Friendship Bracelets **Future weeks crafts to be determined.
