Class Experience
Is your child craft obsessed? Constantly making and creating? This is the perfect class for them! In this ongoing class, learners will meet once a week to create a teacher-directed craft. This class is for learners who have a lot of experience making arts and crafts. The crafts are more advanced and will require more patience, fine motor skills, and willingness to learn new techniques. We will use basic arts and crafts materials and also materials that you don't normally keep in your home....
Caticorn Masquerade Mask • Card Stock (in the color you want your caticorn to be) • Pencil • Scissors • Markers • Hot glue gun and glue • Chopstick or small round dowel or paper straw Optional: Paint, paintbrushes, glitter or glitter glue, sequins, yarn, glitter paper Lion • Orange Paint • Yellow Paint • Paintbrush • Orange/ yellow paper (multiple yellow/ orange color shades and patterned papers will look best) • Paper plate (white, not coated) • Black Marker • Glue • Scissors • Ruler • Pencil Pop-Up Kite • Blue paper • White Paper • 7 (or more) pieces of paper in a variety of colors • Ribbon (any color or size) • Pipe Cleaners (2) • Scissors • Glue (glue stick or liquid glue) • Pencil • Optional: buttons Friendship Bracelets • Tape • Piece of cardboard • Embroidery floss / embroidery thread in a variety of colors
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is required for the use of scissors or hot glue.
