Description
Class Experience
All worksheets and checklists are provided by the teacher. Students will need to print out worksheets and checklists and assemble them in their Everyday Math 3-ring binder notebook. Students should dedicate a specific 3-ring binder (2 or 2.5 inch spine) to their Life Math program materials. They will also need 15 section dividers for each of the 15 sections of the Life Math program. Section dividers can either be blank dividers that the student can label themselves or section dividers numbered 1 - 15. Students will also benefit from the use of a calculator. Other materials such as: a 1040 EZ Tax booklet can be accessed online or at your local library (outside the USA - discuss with Barb) checking / savings ledger can be picked up at a local bank (usually free of charge)
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
