This ongoing math club is perfect for students in grades 2 or 3 (ages 6-8) that need further work on number sense and math fact skills. We will meet each week to work on the following skills: counting, comparing and ordering numbers, addition, subtraction, estimation, problem-solving, and mental math skills. Students will develop more confidence when working with numbers and develop a positive attitude towards math. Please note I will also be teaching this class as a summer camp version...
Students will practice math skills and gain more confidence when working with numbers.
Students should bring paper and writing tools for each math class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
