I do encourage parents to practice vocabulary words and lessons that will be provided in weekly printouts for their little Spanish learner for 10 - 15 minutes daily. 😊 Vocabulary practice outside of class will make games more fun for your little learner. Beginner Level
In this twice weekly, four week Spanish class, we will learn Spanish through imitation, practice and repetition with puppets, stories, games, and song.
Knowing a second language can be an enormous confidence booster for children. Knowing a second language helps children to see themselves as smart and capable. And when you believe it, you can be it.
So, join us for a fun time as we learn Spanish songs, colors, shapes, numbers, emotions, animals, opposites and so much more.
Week #1, 1st class - Greetings/Numbers 1-10
2nd class - Colors/Animals
Week #2, 3rd class - My family
4th class - Shapes/Review
Week #3 - 5th class - Alphabet/Numbers 11-20
6th class - Using the word ‘you’ - “tú and usted”/emotions
Week #4, 7th class - Using “el and la”/opposites
8th class - Review all
As a language teacher I use repetition in an effective way, engaging my little learner's whole body by using games, chants, song and total physical response throughout my lesson to reinforce what I am teaching in each of my classes.
Little learners have a lot of energy and it is my goal to keep them busy and challenged as we learn Spanish. My teaching style is interactive and we learn how to introduce ourselves and make new friends, all in Spanish. Join me and ¡Vamos a aprender español!

The students will be learning Spanish vocabulary each class to soon be able to begin forming simple sentences. Each class will focus on a group of words for your little learner to practice and use. It will be an absolute pleasure to encourage your child to learn Spanish and have fun learning through song, rhymes, poems and stories.

Crayons Blank paper to draw/write upon. I'm will provide printouts to review at home. This is not necessary for class, but strongly encouraged to have at hand. The printouts are also resources for parents to use for practice/study time with their child.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have taught children from preschool through high school for over 25 years with experience in the classroom, homeschool classroom, online classroom, and community education.
