Let's Learn English for Little Learners! 1:1 SMALL GROUP class (ESL- Ages 4-7)

This is A SMALL group class (1-3 learners only). We will focus on simple conversations, colours, shapes, numbers, letters, letter-sounds and simple vocabulary.  This course is ideal for little learners who do not speak the English language or have very little English knowledge.  I will also teach an English song that supports our early English learners! I will provide many materials for your child (you have the option to print them and review any lessons, it's up to the family!

Lesson #1:

-We learn to say “Hello” to each other
-We sing the ABC song
-Practise letter sounds Aa and Bb, using pictures and flashcards
-We identify the letters of your child’s name
-I teach a song about “Our Face”
-with picture and cues, we identify the parts of our face
-We learn a song titled “MY FACE”
-I read a book about “My Face” -by Miss Libby
-We learn to say “Goodbye” to each other

                Your child will receive a complete set of alphabet sound flashcards!
		Your child will receive the song “MY FACE” to listen to

Lesson #2:

-We sing Hello

-We practice alphabet sound Cc and Dd, using pictures/flashcards
-We review the letters in your child’s name
-We review the song “My Face”
-We review the parts of the face

-We learn the RAINBOW song
-We read a story called “Rainbow, Rainbow, What Do You See?” -By Libby Cavanagh
-We sing Goodbye to each other

-Teaching “The Circle Song” + “The Square Song”
-I read a book about shapes (“My Shape Book” -by Libby Cavanagh)
-We sing the Goodbye song

-We introduce 2 more shapes:  TRIANGLE and RECTANGLE (we talk about how many points and sides each shape has)
-We talk about the colours of our shapes
-Teaching the TRIANGLE song and the RECTANGLE song
-Review “My Shape Book” -By Libby Cavanagh
-5 Little Monkeys song (show number 1-5 flashcards)
-We sing the goodbye song

-We use ADDITION to 10 English vocabulary using Miss Libby’s “Counting Machine”
-I sing a song about “Five Little Frogs”
-We sing the Goodbye Song

-Introduce counting items with my math tool titled “The Ten Frame”
-Read a story titled “My Body”
-Identify body parts (e.g. head/arm/legs/neck/chest, etc…) with picture cards
-Learn and listen to a song about body parts, titled “This Is Me” -by Miss Libby
-We sing Goodbye song
