Class Experience

In this 5 week course, students will learn about the basic positions of ballet through center combinations to fun and engaging music. Students will learn various positions each week and will practice the old positions and steps from weeks prior. At the end of each class students will learn a fun dance that incorporates what we learned during class so that the students can review what they learned in a fun way (students will learn 1 dance during the 5 weeks and will learn a little each week which will help students to better learn the ballet steps through repeating the ballet steps each week which is an important element of learning ballet).

*Dancers should be dancing in a safe space and safe floor, students are welcome to complete jumping combinations on an exercise/yoga mat if you would like*

Appropriate Dance Attire:
If students wear a dress or skirt (which I suggest that they do not wear a dress/skirt to this ballet class), students must wear leggings or shorts under. Even if students wear tights with their dress/skirt they must also have shorts or leggings on under. Please no sports bra or crop tops.
It is recommended that studets wear ballet attire such as leotard, ballet tights, and ballet skirt or athletic attire such as leggings and t-shirt and leotard.
