Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Lori Gonzales and I have been a credentialed teacher for over 18 years. 15 of those years I spent in the Kindergarten classroom and I am passionate about teaching children to read! Most of my classes are focused on phonics, language arts, and learning about the world around us through literature. I also enjoy teaching science and nature classes. My style of teaching is interactive with my students and I plan my lessons with a multi-sensory approach (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) to benefit all learners. Please feel free to ask if there are any specific classes you are looking for in the K-4 grade range. I will always consider creating new courses. In my spare time I enjoy reading, music, traveling, cooking, and entertaining. My husband and I live in Texas with our golden doodle Cowboy. We are recent empty-nesters with 2 adult daughters. I hope to meet you soon!
