Welcome! In this ongoing class, we will be preparing for Kindergarten! 📚 This class is perfect for your preschool learner who is going into Kindergarten for the 2023 - 2024 school year, or for your Kindergartener going into the 1st grade who needs a little refresher. I was a Kindergarten teacher for 12 years in public school and my heart is for all things Pre-K & K. I would LOVE to help prepare your child for their Kindergarten year. Students will have an opportunity to learn the skills needed to feel confident and ready for Kindergarten. Students who have already finished Kindergarten will have an opportunity to review basic, yet important concepts that will help them to feel ready for the first grade. Both pre-k and Kindergarten students will have a great opportunity to hone in on reading skills and to continue learning even in the summer months!
Homework Offered
I will provide letter tracing worksheets as well as a sight word list. This work is valuable, yet optional.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
