Class Experience
There are nearly 1,000 different Pokémon right now, but we all have our favorites! In this class, you'll be able to request whatever Pokémon you'd like to learn how to draw, and we'll draw it step-by-step together. This is a one-on-one class, so you'll be able to choose whatever Pokémon is the most interesting to you! It doesn't have to be just Pokémon, though. We can cover anything in the Pokémon show, games, or TCG, and learn how to draw it together. Each class will follow the same structure: - Choosing our subject - Breaking it down - Learning to draw it step-by-step - Adding color Learners can request any Pokémon that they wish to, or anything from the Pokémon franchise. If we have time, we can cover more than one Pokémon, too! #creative
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to draw their favorite Pokémon by breaking them down into simpler shapes and details, and will aim to master the iconic Pokémon art style.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Art is a lifelong passion, and my journey with art started in middle school. I have worked in many different media, but my favorites are sketching, drawing, and photography. I’ve been keeping sketchbooks for nearly 20 years, and they’ve helped me document my journey with art, as well as important milestones in my life. In addition to traditional fine arts, I've always had an interest in animation, and have learned many animation styles and techniques that are useful. I want to help learners find their artistic passion and help them do the same.
