Class experience
Welcome to Japanese Landmarks & Landscapes! You only need 3 things for this class: a pencil, ruler and a piece of paper! Learners will be led through a step-by-step drawing of a beautiful site in Japan. I enjoy helping learners 'think like an artist' as we draw the important lines and shapes that define the landscape. Learners have the option of adding color using colored pencils, although this is not a requirement. Towards the end of the lesson, I will give tips for shading and/or...
Students will practice basic drawing skills & learn new drawing techniques while learning about the beautiful country of Japan.
I have been an art educator for over 25 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Art Education (K-12) from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have taught in public schools, private schools, as well as homeschool co-op groups and private lessons. I am an Outschool ACE Educator and have been teaching on the Outschool platform since August of 2021.
