Students will improve their vocabulary, learn the basics of grammar and punctuation. They will learn essay writing, research (APA style) papers as well as creative writing. How do you make a character come alive? How do you make dialogue realistic? How much description in too much? Students will have challenging, but interesting assignments. The writing will include poetry, song lyrics, and film scripts. They will be encouraged with a gentle approach. Teaching should be fun. We work on zoom, so the student is comfortable and can choose their own time.
