Lego Addition and Subtraction!

In this one time class we will practice addition and subtraction problems up to 20.  I will differentiate each lesson based on the learner's prior knowledge. We will use a hands on approach with building LEGOs to create addition and subtraction sentences.  We will start with the teacher giving examples and then each student (if comfortable) will lead the class in their own addition and subtraction problem.  This class is for the LEGO lovers who need practice in basic addition and subtraction. Hands on learning is a successful way to teach students as it can lead to increased retention and is a more engaging way to learn.  No addition or subtraction experience is required but each student should be able to count up to 20 successfully.
