In this four week class, we will learn weather, food, in the home, and health and safety in American Sign Language.
Class experience
It is highly suggested that you complete parts 1 and 2 before starting part 3! We will begin class with hellos and get to know you questions to make each learner feel comfortable! We will learn the basics of American Sign Language in this 4 week course. Each week, we will learn a different set of signs and master them. No experience is required prior to class. I took many American Sign Language classes. I had a few friends growing up who happened to be deaf. I learned sign language so that I could easily communicate with them and help them communicate with others who did not know ASL.
Homework Offered
Please practice the signs we learn during the week! The more you do the signs, the easier they are to remember! If you practice a couple of times a day, it will come more naturally.Assessments Offered
