Class Experience What Will Be Taught? In this 8-week course, students will learn game design and coding by building a zombie maze game in Roblox Studio. They will gain hands-on experience with Roblox scripting, game mechanics, and design principles, providing a comprehensive introduction to coding and game development. What Topics Will You Cover? Introduction to Roblox Studio tools and interface Basic coding concepts including variables and functions Advanced scripting techniques in Roblox Studio Game design principles and mechanics Creating and implementing game traps and obstacles Step-by-step development of a complete zombie maze game in Roblox How Is Your Class Structured? The class is structured into weekly lessons, each building on the previous one to gradually develop a full zombie maze game. How Will You Teach? I will use a combination of live demonstrations, step-by-step instructions, and interactive discussions.
