In this interactive class learners will practice the skills necessary to be successful in competitive Pokémon battles. They will learn how to effectively build individual Pokémon and teams that will increase theirs odds at succeeding in battles while getting the opportunity to improve their skills in battles with their coach. Coach will provide feedback through open discussion with learners. 

Themes Include:

Teambuilding- Making synergistic choices to select the right Pokémon for a team.

Pokémon builds-Learning the importance of each statistic in regards to the Pokémon on a team and how to influence those stats.

Battling Skills- The most relevant techniques for success in typical situations in a match or while facing popular team builds. Expanding knowledge base on Pokémon moves and abilities and how they influence the game. This is where your style of battle will be identified and improved upon.

Competitive Mindset- Growing awareness around your own mindset when decision making and how to use it to your advantage. Learn tendencies to look for from opponents that influence your decision making in a battle. Understanding the ups and downs of the game. Learning to lose and win well.
