Ages 5-7. I will be showing your child how to make a beautiful sketch of a watercolor portrait of their favorite teddy bear. In this art making process, your child will gain a variety of art skills to express their own unique story.
Class experience
In this 55 minutes lesson, I will teach one sample art project. Please register each child individually. This lesson will be given with supplies you may already have at your home, and you will receive the supplies list before the lesson starts. This is an introduction lesson where I will be teaching students how to create a unique artworks. I like to start my class by letting my students get to know each other and to share about their bears. After that we have an explanation of the class...
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of color mixing, patterns creation, art vocabulary, observational drawing, artistic problem solving, exploring with texture and different materials. They will also improve motor coordination, creativity and story telling abilities. Emotionally, they will gain confidence and more understanding of their own unique expression in the world.

Paper towels 8. A regular pencil and Eraser 9. For texture: plastic fork, scrunched paper, a 1 inch piece of a dish sponge ( you can cut it off and give a small piece) 10. Masking Tape to stretch the watercolor paper on board 11. Watercolor pans with pallet or plastic plate 12.
