Join me in this fun-filled and engaging one-time class where learners will experience rhythm through clapping and using their feet! Using their own drum made during class, the learner will be able to continue these activities after class!
Class experience
Join me for a fun, engaging one-time introduction to rhythm and notes! Using songs, rhymes and the help of my puppet, Mr. Fuggles, children will be actively engaged in learning how to play different rhythms and notes. This is a beginner class, so it doesn't require any beginning music preparation. 1. Hello song, saying hello to each of the learners with my puppet, Mr. Fuggles. 2. Learners will experience rhythm using their body language. With their drum they create in class, each learner will be able to tap out these beats, a fun game to do with their siblings, friends and/or parents.
Items needed to make their drum during class:
- Coffee can with the cover (any size)
- 2 pieces of construction paper or 2 pieces of copy paper (learners will be able to decorate these after class)
- Glue or Tape Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
