Class Experience
These are private, weekly violin lessons for learners of all skill levels - whether you're just starting out or have been playing for years. One-on-one lessons allow me to tailor the content and pace to each student's needs, learning style, and interests. I draw a lot of my teaching influence from Suzuki and other independent methods in order to provide a strong technical base while also focusing on my favorite part of playing violin: making music! In addition to foundational studies, I also like to use improvisation, composition, and games in lessons that will challenge learners while keeping learning fun!
Learning Goals
Students will learn proper violin technique, songs, rhythm, music history, music theory, body mapping, and composition
