In this one-time class, artists will learn the very basics to start making art using Procreate on the iPad. This class is designed for absolute beginners.

Class Experience

Beginner Level

This class is for learners who are brand new to using Procreate on the iPad.  No experience or previous knowledge is required.  

The teacher will explain and show the very basics such as:
opening the app
the Procreate gallery
creating a canvas
choosing a color
choosing a brush
undo
eraser
color fill
zoom & rotate

This class is taught in English.

Learners will need two devices for this class:  one device to join the Outschool Zoom meeting and a separate iPad for drawing.  Two separate devices makes it easy to watch the guided drawing and work along with the teacher.  Learners must arrive to class with Procreate downloaded on an iPad. Procreate is $9.99 in the Apple app store. An Apple Pencil or other stylus is optional.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Procreate

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
