Parental Guidance
Please give consent to students to use Google Forms and Gimkit. This will be used to reinforce learning. Gimkit is a game that the students will play at the end of each lesson. The games will be about the lesson for the day.
Gimkit does not require a download on the students' devices. It will be used to reinforce learning. Students can play fun math games. This will help me to see what the students have been learning and what areas I need to reteach.
The content here is kid friendly and safe for the students to be on.
Students will be given weekly quizzes through Google forms. There is no account need for such. The link will be sent through the zoom chat and the results are only seen by me. This also tells me where the students are in their learning.
Students are not required to create a Gimkit account. They will be given a link and/or a code to join. Such links and/or codes are given only to the students who are present in the session. I will also be sharing my screen when reviewing or teaching mathematical concepts to the students.
Supply List
Students will need to attend each session with a notebook/paper and a pen or pencil.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been teaching math for about 5 years now. I have been an elementary teacher for almost 7 years. Teaching this topic is not new to me, so students will leave having an understanding of the topic and with different strategies that they can use to solve.
