In this introductory class, students will learn the basics of playing the piano. Students will explore the black and white keys, finger position, and simple melodic patterns. Come explore the piano with us!
Class experience
In this one time, introductory course, students will learn and explore: - The black vs. white piano keys - High vs. low sounds - Proper piano sitting position - Finger numbers - Play simple rhythms and melodies by rote (using their ear) No experience is needed, but students must have access to a piano or keyboard.
