In this 12 week course students in grades 5-7 will be introduced to the field of physics.

Class experience

US Grade 5 - 7
Students should leave class knowing the big picture of physics. They will be exposed to many math equations but will not have to memorize them for the course. Students should feel comfortable speaking about topics like linear and non-linear motion, electrostatics, energy conservation as well as many other topics covered in the course. As well as understanding many of the "how's" and "why's" of their everyday environment.
Mrs. Kim has been teaching middle school physics in homeschool co-ops with up to twenty students per class. She also teaches this class for an online K-6 academy. She has been a core subject instructor with fourteen years of teaching experience in grades K-8.

Assessments Offered
Students will receive a mid-term and a final exam for their own measurement of success. They can also use these assessments for additional feedback and help from the teacher in areas where they may want to improve.
