Intro to Paragraph Writing (Flex Class)

Paragraphs are so important in writing. It is not enough to simply have good ideas. Ideas need to be organized and easy to read.  

During this class, students will be completing four steps (brainstorm, organize, correct mistakes, final draft) with the final outcome being a great paragraph. We use the hamburger paragraph writing method to organize our work. 

Types of paragraphs covered are: opinion, informative, narrative and persuasive. 

Each week on Monday, a set of worksheets will be uploaded for students to print and work on throughout the week. Each worksheet has a fun topic. The teacher will also post a video explaining how to complete the worksheets. The worksheets should be completed in order, but at the pace of each student. 

Students will submit a picture to the teacher for feedback for each completed step.
