If you want to know more about Korean Language and Culture, then this is the class for you! This is an exploration into Korean pop music and beginner Korean language. We will learn the basics of Korean language and dive into the Hallyu wave that is sweeping the world. It's a fun way to get exposed to a different culture. This is an immersive study through listening and interacting instead of 100% memorization and repetition. While learning the basics of Korean letters and words, we will explore Korean culture and history from a kPOP viewpoint. It's an immersive experience from a fellow kPOP fan! Lesson 1: Overview Intro to Hangul and History Lesson 2: Characteristics of Korean pop music/Useful words Lesson 3:Intro to BigBang and Intro to BTS/Self- introductions Lesson 4: Basic conversational phrases

We will use a curriculum that I created and all readings and worksheets will be provided. Notebook, pens, pencils, markers and creative materials

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
