This class is taught in English.
Learners will practice Korean characters Hangul and Korean language here. Learners will get used to read, write, listen, and speak in basic Korean in this class while studying with an educated and certified native teacher.
I'm a native Korean speaker, a professional Korean language tutor and instructor for 8 years, and have a bachelor's degree. I'm fluent in both Korean and English. I received perfect scores in all Korean language tests including the Korean SAT. I worked in my college press, as well as in thesis correction for my department at my university. I lived in Korea for 28 years and moved to the US for my Ph.D. I have experience teaching Korean language to both Korean native students and non-native students, for more than 8 years now!
There will be a one page writing and drawing homework every week to get used to Korean. We're going to check the achievement every week. I understand that people have different way to study, and we can be so busy sometimes, so I leave it optional. I'm sure that the homework is going to help your study so much, so please try it if you have some time :)
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
