Description
Class Experience
In this three-week class with certified teacher and D&D enthusiast Danielle Boyd, students will create or use their existing Dungeons & Dragons character, join a campaign (game), learn to use use weapons, spells & terminology as they play. Throughout the three weeks, Ms. Boyd will teach the students as they play, which never leaves a slow or dull moment! This class is highly interactive. Danielle Boyd is a certified Special Education teacher for students in grades K-8. Over the last 17 years she has taught several neurodiverse students in math, science, reading, writing as well as study and time management skills. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in History from Virginia Tech and Master’s of Education in Special Education from George Mason University. She enjoys reading, baking and super heroes! She has a poodle and anyone is welcome to him, especially if he tears another piece of paper into shreds! She looks forward to seeing you in class!
