Welcome to the world of digital art, where you can draw anything you desire! But with so many options and directions to go, getting started can be a little intimidating. We can help with exactly that! In this workshop, we’ll introduce students to the digital canvas and help them get started with the basics. By the end of the workshop, students will have a sketch and the foundational skills to continue exploring digital art on their own! Though any program can be used, we will be focusing on the free and filled with tools program, Medibang Paint. Students will sketch their very own images and alongside their instructor, learners will also: >>> Navigate and become familiar with digital sketching software >>> Learn what a reference is and how to break it down >>> Discover techniques to clean up rough sketches It is recommended that students have the software downloaded before the course begins. MediBang Paint for Windows and Mac can be downloaded at the following website: https://medibangpaint.com/en/app-download/ or from your mobile device's App Store.

Parental Guidance
We will be using the Medibang Paint editor. Parental Consent is required for Learners under the age of 13. It can be downloaded and installed on Windows or Mac Computers. iOS and Android versions can be downloaded for mobile devices via their respective App Stores.
