Intro to Calendar: Months of the Year and Days of the Week

In this early childhood circle time, we will explore one of the very helpful ways that we keep track of time - the calendar! Together, we will observe the format of a typical calendar. Through song, we will practice the names of the months of the year as well as the days of the week in order. Additionally, we will use a music and movement song to practice counting with cardinal numbers (first, second, third, etc.). This class will include a morning song, question of the day, read aloud that will be tied to our focus skill ("Days, Weeks, and Months"), a music and movement break, and calendar practice. No prior knowledge is required for participation in this class. Come celebrate learning with me!
