In this 5-week course, students will continue to develop their chess skills through new lessons, exercises, and playing live games.

This class is a continuation of the Intermediate Class intended for those students who wish to continue building on the material we covered in the first class. We will continue exploring more openings, more advanced endgame positions, and of course, game analysis including tactics and strategies. I have been teaching chess, both in classroom settings and private lessons for the last 12 years. Working with K-12 students with classes of up to 50 students, I have the experience and knowledge to teach students to not only learn chess, but to enjoy the process of learning as well. I'm rated around 1900 USCF.
