Welcome to story time! I will screen share an ebook, "Clap!" and read to the group. Learners will have the opportunity to follow along by moving along to activities done by characters in the book. For this particular story, learners will be invited to clap with various facial expressions, stand, stomp, air high-five, take deep breaths, and dance. This course is designed to be fun, interactive, and to help learners build comprehension skills through guided questions and activities throughout the book.

Parental Guidance
Learners will be standing, stomping, dancing, and executing other physical movements, so parental guidance is required to prevent falls, slips, or other potentially injury-causing situations.

Hello! My name is Haley Rader and I am excited to teach music and movement classes here on Outschool! I am in my third year of study at Kansas State University earning a bachelor's degree in music education. I have played the clarinet for 11 years and spent lots of time volunteering and teaching with kids and teens of all ages. I believe that music is a beautiful means of self expression and I strive to share with my students how music can become more personal and meaningful to them. When I am not learning more about music, I love to dance, cook and spend time outside. I studied ballet, jazz, and tap at local dance studios in Wichita, Kansas for 6 years as well. Girl Scouts has been part of my life since I was 7 years old and I love arts and crafts and summer camp! I will soon be spending my second season working as a Girl Scout summer camp counselor.
