US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
In this one time class students will discover just what the inside of the Earth looks like. We will create a play-doh model of the Earth, and then we will cut it in half to reveal the layers. Through this class, students will gain an understanding of the Earth’s construction, and what each layer consists of. The class will be interactive, with guided discussion. PowerPoint slides will also be used to engage and learn. I enjoy creating an atmosphere where children are comfortable with being themselves and discovering just how brilliant their minds can be.

Student will learn the layers of the Earth and what makes up each layer, while also being exposed to new vocabulary.Other Details
Supply List
Students will need red, green, blue, purple, yellow, orange, and red playdoh.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello parents and students! My name is Mr.Kenny! I am married to my beautiful wife, Heather, who is also an Outschool teacher! We have an amazing four year old little boy named Alyas! I enjoy watching him grow and learn! My family and I are full-time travelers, living in a travel trailer, seeing the country and all the great things it has within it. I have 9+ years of teaching and volunteer work with children ages 3-14, and I'm also an online ESL teacher. I'm very excited to teach through Outschool, helping children learn and grow, all while having a blast doing it! When it comes to my teaching style, I love all things outdoors, so I want to bring that passion to my students. I was in the Army for 6 years, 2 of which I was a Drill SGT, so I have a lot of life skills to share, as well as survival skills and techniques. A lot of my classes will be hands on and outside, while others may be a little more laid back, but all of them will be a lot of fun! I look forward to meeting you!Reviews
