In this one-time class, learners will get a chance to share cute photos of their dog (or the one they wish they had) while making no-bake freezer treats for canine pals.

Class experience

Creamy peanut butter
Note: Peanut butter must NOT contain Xylitol and cannot be substituted for almond butter as both of these items are toxic to dogs. If you need to make this project without nut butter, you can use canned or homemade pumpkin puree (it won't be tasty for humans this way, but it is nut-free).

Dairy-based plain yogurt (Greek style yogurt is fine as long as it is plain, NOT flavored)

ice cube tray, preferably small sized (can substitute with a mini muffin tin)

2 silicone spatulas or 2 spoons

butter knife or small spatula/scraper

Nearby sink to wash hands

surface that can get messy to work on: kitchen counter or kitchen table work best

Freezer
Important notices:

1.) We'll be using creamy peanut butter and dairy-based yogurt for these homemade goodies fit for your dog (and humans!). Please note any potential allergens or sensitivities.

2.) Non-dairy yogurt can be substituted for dairy-based.

3.) Peanut butter must NOT contain Xylitol and cannot be substituted for almond butter as both of these items are toxic to dogs. If you need to make this project without nut butter, you can use canned or homemade pumpkin puree (it won't be tasty for humans this way, but it is nut-free). Most brands of creamy peanut butter are safe as long as they do not say "low sugar" or "no sugar" as that is when Xylitol is used as an artificial sweetener.
