Welcome to How to Draw Your Favorite Characters (Ages 9 to 12 Edition), my name is Nicholas Haynes, I am an artist and illustrator whose looking to pass my knowledge to a new generation of artists. As the title suggests, this class is the alternative to my ages 5-8 course. This class is meant more for children who already have a good amount of experience drawing, and want to broaden their skills even further. Here is an example of some of the lessons we will take, in no particular order. Shape Language, and how to use your tools, and Mickey Mouse Drawing Dynamic Poses, featuring Spider-Man How to Draw Sonic Characters How to Draw Goku Despite the higher age entry, this will be a fun and laid-back course. Everyone has a different pace and I want to accommodate for that. The worst thing a teacher can do is make a child not want to learn. They are free to ask questions and provide comments, they can talk via mic or text, whichever they are most comfortable with. Sessions will also be recorded.

How to better construct two-dimensional figures from basic shapes and lines into recognizable characters.How to create smooth lines with drawing tools such as pencils and pens, giving them the ability to create confident linework that makes their art feel bold and alive.Other Details
Supply List
Pencil, Paper, and Pens If your child has access to an iPad or drawing tablet, they are free to use those as well, but I will be focused on pen and paper. Ideally, buy a sketchbook that can chronologically show their progress.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
