In this One-Time class, students will listen to the story 'How to Catch a Monster', answer comprehension questions, help complete a story map, and draw their own picture of a monster.
Class experience
This is a one-time class. This class is perfect for little artists ages 3-8, no drawing experience necessary. We will be reading 'How to Catch a Monster' by Adam Wallace and Andy Elkerton. Throughout the story, I will call on students and ask comprehension questions. We will engage in fun conversations about monsters. At the end of the story, we will complete a story map to sequence the events in the story. After the story, we will draw a monster together following step-by-step instructions....
