This class will show students the mechanics of multiplying and dividing fractions and answer questions using real world questions.

Class Experience

Section 2: This class is designed for students who need to reinforce the mechanics of multiplying and dividing fractions.   It is a good class for students who may need the extra support, It will help to minimize the loss of information from the long time, or to get a jump start on the approaching school year.  It is a must have class skill before they are introduced to ratios & proportions, and percents. This class (Section) will meet twice a week for one week before it rotates. ...

Students will improve their understanding of how to multiply and divide fractions, and solve real world problem involving fractions.

My expertise and teaching experience in teaching math include: State licensed and certified K-12 math for more than ten years. I have taught taught Algebra, Geometry and Algebraic Thinking (high school) middle school (grades 5 & 6) elementary (grades 3,4) Adult Basic Education math for returning students (GED).

Homework and handouts to provide support and practice for what was learned in class maybe assigned. Assignments and handouts   will be delivered through digital platform for completion and submission.

Many students experience extreme anxiety when they are confronted with a test. This is especially true when you say math test. With that in mind, progress will be assessed and monitored by class participation, independent and group practice, questions and answers, and submission of  handouts.

1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

This class will incorporate the use of (CAI) computer aided instruction. We will use a variety websites to facilitate student engagement and participation. Websites will include, but are not limited to, Kahoot, IX,. Prezi, Gimkit, and Google Form.
