Homework Help

We will be going through the homework together that was assigned for math. In math, students are learning about multiplication and division. We are using the distributive and associative properties of multiplication and division for a few reasons: Working with smaller factors and multiples allows students to understand the purpose behind the multiplication and division. Breaking apart the problem in such a way gives students a better number sense so they understand the value of the numbers more. Students also benefit from breaking apart the numbers because with more practice, they can use it to complete problems mentally. I will be going through each individual question of the homework students were assigned and reteach any missed learning or misconceptions. While I will have my whiteboard and guide students through the problems, they will write down their work on their homework and participate in the discussion of the problems.
